Invalides .
Paris – 2020
Private residence – 150 sqm.
Complete renovation
Invalides is the careful reorganization of a Haussmannian apartment whose original layout had become fragmented and impractical.
The intervention focuses on clarifying the plan and adapting the spaces to contemporary living. A wall between the former kitchen and the living room is opened to introduce a new kitchen volume that participates fully in the life of the main space.
Designed as a piece of architecture rather than furniture, the kitchen organizes the room while maintaining the apartment’s sense of continuity.
Elsewhere, subtle adjustments to the entrance allow the creation of a dressing area for the adjacent bedroom, integrated so naturally that it appears to have always belonged to the original layout.
A precise intervention that restores clarity, flow and quiet coherence to the apartment.
